Educational Qualification : 

  • From amongst Officers holding the post of Stenographer under the Central Government
  • Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department or
  • With ten years’ regular service in Pay Level-4 in the pay matrix (Rs. 25,500/- to Rs. 81,100/-) or equivalent.

Age Limit: As per the Income Tax Department recruitment notification, the candidate’s maximum age should be 56 years.
