SSC Eligibility Criteria

  • Pay Level 6: Rs 35,400–1,12,400

  • Pay Level 7: Rs 44,900–1,42,400 


In addition to the basic salary, SSC employees are also eligible for various allowances, such as:

House Rent Allowance (HRA): Helps with housing costs depending on the city category and pay level


Dearness Allowance (DA): Compensates for inflation


Transport Allowance (TA): Covers commuting expenses


Traveling Allowance: Candidates selected for Group X cities are entitled to receive Rs.3600 as transport allowance
