Educational Qualification :
Graduate Apprentice (Electrical) - BE/B.Tech
Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Electrical) - Diploma
Technician Apprentice (ITI in Wiremen/Electrician) - ITI
Age Limit (As on 01/01/2026): As per the WBSETCL recruitment official notification, the candidate’s minimum age 18 years. Candidates who passed the qualifying examination in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are only eligible

WBSETCL Apprentice Training Details
Duration of Training: 12 months
Training Hours: Monday to Friday (10:00 AM to 5:30 PM) with lunch break. Saturdays & Sundays off.
Leave: Casual Leave (14 days/year), Medical Leave (10 days/year)
Place of Training: Across various Substations/Offices of WBSETCL in West Bengal.
